User defined SNTP server connecting parameters (on syslog page). ======================================================================= IMPORTANT NOTICE: ======================================================================= Due to the new features added to this release (Rel 02) of the firmware, it is highly recommended that a factory reset is performed on the device after this upgrade. To retain your existing configuration settings during this firmware upgrade follow these instructions: 1) Make a backup copy of your existing configuration. - GUI : Management Assitant > Upgrade Firmware > Save Configuration - TFTP Tool : Click on "Save Configuration" Note the file name and the location where you saved your existing configuration information. 2) Upgrade the firmware to the new version. 3) Reset your device by using the GUI (Management Assistant > Upgrade Firmware > Factory Settings), the TFTP utility (Click on "Set to default") or by pressing the "reset" button for at least 3 seconds. 4) Follow section (a) for TFTP or (b) for GUI restore : a) Configuration restore using the TFTP Tool after a factory reset - Server IP : 192.168.1.1 - Local File : Locate your previously saved configuration file and click on "Upgrade Firmware". Once the configuration has been updated, the device will reboot and the previously saved configration will be activated. b) Configuration restore using the GUI after a factory reset Re-connect to your device using the default information : - Device IP : https://192.168.1.1 - Username : admin - Leave the password blank Go to Management Assistant > Upgrade Firmware - Locate your previously saved configuration file in the section "Upgrade Software or Configuration" and click on "Upgrade".
